Microsoft’s Business Applications Summit will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta GA. The conference will run from June 10th through June 11th, 2019.
This event is a Microsoft hosted event and is designed to provide information on what’s new and next in the Dynamics community. The event has some pre conference training available as well!

As you may know, clicking on a phone number withing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will prompt you to make a phone call. This is pretty cool to me and is a big time saver!
Generally businesses are using Skype for Business, and upon install, this becomes the default application for invoking phone calls. But with the increasing development on Teams, and the growing desire to change from Skype for Business to Teams… how do you tell the software to use Teams for phone calls instead of Skype?

Dynamics 365 – Business Central using dimensions instead of additional segments for General Ledger analysis and reporting.
In settings up a new instance of #Dyn365BC, settings up dimensions is a critical piece to the puzzle. How do you want to measure profitability? What type of non GL information would you like to track?
Some examples of dimensions are Department, Territory, Region, Sales Campaign, Project, Asset ID, etc.
With dimensions, because of the way they are presented in the system, there is a misconception about how many dimensions an organization can use in their system.
